How to Calibrate an Environmental Chamber: Step-by-Step

Step 1: Inspect the chamber and place the sensor array. Check door seals, air circulation, refrigeration, and humidity generation for faults, then position the mapping sensors to the documented plan — typically the eight corners, the geometric centre, and the control-sensor location.

Step 2: Perform “as found” verification. Log the controller indication against the reference sensors at each set point before any adjustment. As-found data proves whether product conditioned or stability-tested in this chamber actually saw the specified environment.

Step 3: Map the working volume at each set point.
